Who are you? I’m Anna Log. I’ve been DJing for about 6 years. I just got off tour – we went everywhere and back basically.
What kind of music do you usually play? Usually hip-hop, house, and electro. I don’t know, I love music.
What’s playing in your headphones right now? Passion Pit. One of my best friends plays drums in that band and I think it’s a classic remix. A little secret.
Where did you get these headphones? They were a Christmas present from about 6 years ago. My friend was like: “Hey you should probably get these if you’re gonna DJ”. They are the MDR V700 DJ headphones.
Are you into technology? Yea I guess…I’m a nerd. A little bit (laughs).
What were you for Halloween? A cat (mimics drawing whiskers on her face)
What gadget do you want next? Definitely the Rane 68 Mixer, which is the mega mixer of all mixers right now with all the Ableton controls. It’s the new breed of DJing more or less.
What’s your favorite borough to hang out in? If Union Square could be a borough, this would definitely be it. Its open to watch so many people, there is every walk of life here, its awesome.
